About me
Elyse Crichton was born and raised in Washington state with two younger brothers. After attending college in Eugene, Oregon, she was hooked on the sales-tax-free state and stayed put. Originally, she majored in elementary education at Northwest Christian University (now Bushnell University), but she realized her passion was in higher education and leadership.
She has had somewhat of an unconventional career path from Resident Director to Instructional Technology Specialist in the IT department to Director of Esports. She then worked as HR/IT/payroll at a small company that installs and designs off-grid solar power systems for RVs. She currently works as a consultant for a higher education software company.
In her free time, when the weather is nice, she enjoys being outdoors playing softball or floating the river with friends. She also enjoys trying new restaurants or spending time at local wineries and breweries. She is usually down for a game night with friends but also enjoys quiet nights watching her favorite shows on Hulu.
She loves connecting with new friends and professionals.
